How to deal with the alarm of SMT pick and place machine? The various situations that may occur are listed below, and here are also the corresponding solutions to the problems for the majority of users of pick and place machine. The problem analysis and answers are as follows:
(1) Dirt or short circuit is on the sensor of the PCB transmitter: wipe the sensor of the PCB transmitter.
(2) Add too much lubricating oil and the sensor is contaminated: clean the sensor without too much lubricating oil.
(3) The belt of the PCB transmitter is loose or broken: replace the belt of the PCB transmitter.
(1) Computer failure: restart after shutdown.
(2) The emergency switch of the machine is in the off state: pull out the emergency switch button.
(3) Insufficient air pressure: check the air source and make the air pressure reach the required value.
(4) The solenoid valve does not start: repair the solenoid valve.
(5) Interlock switch is off: turn on the interlock switch.
(1) Poor contact or short circuit of the longitudinal transmitter or sensor: check and repair the transmitter or sensor.
(2) Add too much lubricating oil and the sensor is contaminated: clean the sensor without too much lubricating oil.
(3) Poor contact or short circuit of the transverse transmitter or sensor: check and repair the transmitter or sensor.
(1) The placement position of the SMT pick and place machine deviates from the coordinate position
1. Programming error for the pick and place: modify the component coordinates when the position of individual components is inaccurate; the PCB Mark can be modified when the entire board is offset.
2. Setting error of the component thickness: modify the component library program.
3. The height of the placement head is too high, and the components are dropped from a high place during placement: reset the Z axis height so that the distance between the bottom of the component soldering end and the upper surface of the PCB is equal to the diameter of the largest solder ball.
4. The height of the placement head is too low, causing the component to slide: reset the Z axis height so that the distance between the bottom of the component soldering end and the upper surface of the PCB is equal to the diameter of the largest solder ball.
5. Placement speed is too high; speed of X, Y, Z axis and turning angle T is too fast: reduce the speed.
(2) Components are smashed or damaged during the placement of SMT pick and place machine
1. PCB deformation: replace the PCB or heat and press the PCB.
2. The height of the placement head is too low: the height of the placement head should be adjusted in accordance with the thickness of the PCB and the height of the components to be mounted.
3. Excessive placement pressure: readjust the placement pressure.
4. The size of the PCB support pillars is incorrect and the distribution of PCB support pillars is uneven: the number of support pillars is too small. Replace the support pillars that match the thickness of the PCB to evenly distribute the support pillars; increase the support pillars.
5. The component itself is easily broken: replace the component.
(3) Components of SMT pick and place machine are pasted incorrectly or in the wrong polarity direction
1. Programming error for pick and place: modify the program.
2. Wrong pick-up programming or wrong feeder position: modify the pick-up program and change the material station.
3. Transistors, electrolytic capacitors, etc. have polarized components, and the directions are inconsistent when taped by different manufacturers: pay attention to the polarity direction when replacing taped components, and modify the program for pick and place if the direction is inconsistent.
4. When adding tubular components to the chute of the vibrating feeder, the direction is inconsistent with the programming direction of the feeder: pay attention to the direction of the component when adding materials to the chute of the vibrating feeder.
