What is PCB?

1 . Introduction

PCB is the supporter of electronic components, and in which there are metal conductors as lines for connecting electronic components.

The traditional circuit board uses the method of printing etching resist to make the circuit lines and drawings, so it is called a printed circuit board.

2. Classification

Ø Single Sided Board

Using a single-piece plastic board as the bottom board. The integrated circuit and other electronic components are concentrated on one side, and the copper wires are concentrated on the other side.

Ø Double Sided Board

Using a single-piece plastic board as the bottom board. And drill “vias” to allow the copper wires to pass through the plastic board from the front to the back, so that the wires on the front and the back are connected to each other. This method is always used in complicated circuit.

Ø Multi-Layer Board

Using several double-sided boards and sandwich an insulating layer (plastic material ) between two double-sided boards. Then bond them to form a structure of several layers of copper wires.
